Sometimes it can be difficult to get to the groomers or vet practice to get your pets nails trimmed. Or maybe your pet is very fearful and doesn’t like being in the car, going to the vets or getting nail trims. This service means I can come and trim your pets nails in the comfort of your own home. When booked, this is a 30 minute appointment.

Unfortunately, many dogs suffer from anal gland problems. This then can result in your pet becoming fearful of the vet environment. I provide this service in the comfort of your own home, I will try to make it as positive as possible.

If I suspect that your pet has an infection or other condition, I will advise you to seek veterinary attention and may refuse to preform the service.

Some pets can struggle to groom themselves and keep themselves clean. This may be because they are older or have a condition that prevents them from doing so. I can come and do a basic groom of your pet in the comfort of your own home. I can clip matts out or attempt to brush them out if needed. Hygiene clips are usually around the bottom area to prevent urine and faeces getting matted in the fur.

If your pets ears are in need of a clean then I can use a gentle and effective ear cleaner to break down wax and make your pets ears clean again.

If I suspect your pet may have an ear infection or a condition, I am not able to diagnose and I will have to advise for you to seek veterinary attention.

Many of our pets are overweight, some underweight. It can be really difficult to know how to manage your pets weight and get it right. I will come and assess your pets body condition score. With that information I can then determine whether your pet is a healthy weight or not. If they are not then we can discuss how to lose or gain weight, exercise, play, diet and other things can make a huge difference. I provide a at home service where I will come and discuss your pets history and physically assess your pet.

We can create a post op care plan to ensure your pet recovers healthy and without complications.

If you find it difficult to give your dog tablets, liquids or other medications then I can either help teach you how to do it effectively or just do it for you! Whether it is their regular flea and worm treatment or long term medications, I will come to your home and help you.
